For horses with more of a 'sprung' ribcage' and with a girth groove somewhat closer to the elbow area. For a less prominent girth groove, where the girth has a tendency to into a too forward position. The girth is cut back further in front only to allow for extra distance to the elbow. The cut back section must point forward.
